My Coffee Making Gadgetry
My completed A3 ink and watercolour artwork of My Coffee Making Gadgetry. I am delighted that this artwork I submitted to the Coffee Art Project [http://www.coffeeartproject.com] competition has been selected for display and judging at the London Coffee Festival, 12-15 April 2018 [www.londoncoffeefestival.com].
My accompanying description read as follows:
Like many lovers of coffee who enjoy brewing and preparing their own drinks, I have become very engrossed in the wide variety of equipment available. I have a collection of implements and gadgets that are all in regular use. I find new homes for the items that do not work for me in order to keep my tools optimised to provide my best tasting brew.
The art I produce [waltcahill.com] is often described as quite journalistic in style and function and so it was natural for me to add descriptive words and personal information to support the illustrations describing my coffee world.
