The Just For Kids Easter promotion was an extensive program of product promotion and Easter Holiday activities at Selfridges. I produced a central illustrative and visual theme to support my poster and leaflet designs. The logo and illustrations had to be strong enough to extend the theme across exhibition hall designs, display cabinets, window display concepts, press campaign, and magazine promotions.
I produced the illustrations with painted bright gouache, plastic adhesive film and wax chinagraph pencil. My aim was to move away from a traditional Easter theme and produce something a bit upbeat and bright to suggest fun and action while keeping the Easter egg as a reminder that the promotion was limited to the school holidays.
