Drawn whille taking part in a Drawing London on Location event at the Natural History Museum’. While sketching with my companions we overheard a mother initially declare to her child that she thought this to be a woodpecker. The expression I have captured is the DoDo’s dismay at being incorrectly identified. Thankfully the mother corrected herself upon reading the display description.
